March 30, 2002

right now, i am choking with excitement.. i just can't swallow it down! i can feel my heart beating faster and faster. i can feel my blood pumping harder and harder. ahhhhhhh! LA, I'M SO EXCITED! that's right boys and girls...my first offical roadtrip! i'm supposed to be asleep right now, but right now my body is going on strike. it refuses to listen to common sense and my brain is encouraging it. ugh...i am soooo going to regret this tomorrow!

HAPPY EASTER Y'ALLS!

Thought of the Moment: Rent Kingpin, Cinderella, and Ratrace for a terrific time!
Song of the Moment: That one 94.9 trance song that we heard in my car when we were going to Lyon's sometime last month?
good morning everyone! wow, i can't believe i woke up before 12 today! anyways, it's a beautiful day...and you know what that means-phil is in a good mood! there's something about the sun that just turns my happiness on. the bluer the sky, the bigger the smile. ok, i'm just in a gay mood...nevermind me.

so my birthday/Good Friday was basically like any other day. i confess that i didn't exactly have the right attitude or heart on the day our Lord was crucified on the cross. man, i really take God's grace for granted....don't we all? well, my birthday wasn't so bad. i only got hit by phil and tiffanie (*sigh* if ONLY you were a guy!) and i got a few gifts...well, alot more than any other year so thank you all very much! anyways, i've hit the big 18 and for once, i actually feel kinda old. i was doing some reminiscing and realized that i went through many more good times than bad times. in fact, i didn't think much about my bad experiences unless i forced myself to. anyways, God is a good god and i pray that He will use me to bring Him glory in my 18th year of life.

frank-wait, so bulls can give milk too?
tiff-*bang bang bang*...i still think your drumsticks are cooler than mine (we go waaaaaay back!)
justin-stop touching me you pervert!
chang-shinhwa 5 is disappointing.
lauri-yo necesito los videos esta semana!
lois-P-U. i sure do feel sorry for the city of Monterey!
tiff-calvin=naive=tiff...that's just one of them.
simon-ARNOLD SCHWARZNEZENEZWARCHEGGER! *shrug*

Thought of the Day: Spring Break, i'm ready for you. But the question is, ARE YOU READY FOR ME?!
Song of the Day: DJ DOC-Go Away (ooouuuuuu lalalaaaalalalalaaaaaaaaaaa!)

March 28, 2002

(while working).
char: so what do you think?
me: what do i think of what?
char: LOOK!
(there's three pieces of paper on the window that say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHILIP!").
me: ahahahahahaah.
(tess walks in with three balloons and rosie brings an ice cream cake that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY PHILIP!").
tess: happy bir...
rosie: happy birthda...
allan: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
char: happy birthday.
me: aw thanks guys!
allan: hurry up and cut the cake! i'm GOD DANG hungry! oh philip, i'm going to tell you what my mother told me when i turned 18. now that you're 18, if you ever end up in jail you can bail yourself out now!

man, i guess my job ain't so bad...*grin* (even though walking home with those balloons gave me alotta attention).

ok, so i saved up $600 and i'm going to be throwing it all away in 2 weeks! LA=$200. Senior Picnic=$35. Prom-tickets=$135. tux=$100. dinner=$60+. noraebang=$15+. that's approximately 300 big ones going down the drain in one night folks! it takes me 4 weeks to earn that much! there's also the commitment in saving all of that money. argh! prom=sin's curse.

Thought of the Day: So we meet again Mr. Moon!
Song of the Day: Nalin & Kane vs Beats International-Just Be Good To The Beachball (*sigh* just the medicine i was looking for).

March 27, 2002

work was really long today:

allan: oh, i know this person who's going to teach at davis. she says that davis is much better than irvine!
me: how come?
allan: well you see...blah blah blah...business is like...blah blah blah...you want to become a teacher?...blah blah blah...i'll give you two choices...blah blah blah...in hawaii...blah blah blah...don't listen to anyone's advice...blah blah blah...the pay sucks but the vacation...blah blah blah...my friend antonio was a gigolo...blah blah blah...great times on the cruise...blah blah blah...principal has a lot of responsibility...blah blah blah...yeah, become a teacher!

that man stopped talking after 40 min. and it was because he had to answer a phone call.

ok, so i finally finished that cursed research paper for econ. my partner, pat, seriously did not do crap! i finished my part last wed. he finished writing his last night. i basically did his research for him, wrote his bibliography, and had to type his copy out b/c he forgot to send it to me before going to work. if that idiot did not hook me up at blockbuster tonight, i would have skinned his whole body and thrown him into the ocean. he is a bad man.

mother took me out today as an early birthday present. she bought me some Nation's and bought me a black dress shirt. mother really enjoys eating with me b/c i supposedly "eat with passion." but yeah, i enjoy hanging out with my mom here and there.
mother: simon, be more like your brother. only stupid people don't try new foods.
me: *giggle*

ok, so is it just me or is there some sorta blog strike going on? is this another one of those "cool" things to do? i assure you, blogging on and off is NOT cool. don't take blogs for granted, right Pastor Dave?

*sigh* spring break is about 70 hours away from now. it's so close i can smell it! i feel like i have sooooo many things to look forward to, but really there isn't much: good friday, movies movies movies, LALALALALALALALA, and sleeeeeeeeep! *sigh* these last two days are going to take forever! i detest thursdays...they don't deserve to be a part of the week! only bad people deserve to go through days like thursday...argh! i'm not a bad person! i'm just kinda bad sometimes.

dykas-i'm not going to your rally if you don't go to prom!
justin-moe better have a definite answer by tomorrow!
simon-queen simon is raping the crap outta me!
thomas-blogging's tight dawg. dude, i miss hyun soo already!
B-you think this year is bad? wait til junior year!

March 26, 2002

so my tuesday was almost as good as my monday! first, pat and i cut 2nd period b/c we weren't doing anything so i only had to go to one period today. second, i got my Diva cds sold. third, i had an excellent lunch that left me smiling with a full stomach...having ramen once a month really makes you happy. fourth, i got paid at work today even though i was supposed to get paid on friday! fifth, char gave me an Easter gift...a bunny full of almond rocca (she thinks i absolutely love this stuff). sixth, the weather really brightened my spirits. seventh, i had no hw! this week is going by really slow and fast at the same time...man, i'm tired.

Thought of the Day: Everyday is like a Friday to me.
Song of the Day: Boa-Listen To My Heart Ken Harada's TB-Bassin' Mix (niiiiiiiice song!)

March 25, 2002

can my day get any better? DIVA has been sold at a very satisfying $35! man, i know i'm getting ripped off here but these cds are just too hard to get rid of. man, i'm really going to make it up to you...i kinda promise!

mother is sad. she keeps talking about how i'm going to college and how she won't be able to live with me anymore. i don't like seeing my mother like this. it makes me feel kinda bad b/c i'm all excited to get the heck out of here. i mean, i want to stay here for my friends and church, but i want to go out there and live my college life too! geez, my mom's depressing me...i apparently mean alot to her. gosh mom, simon can use some love too...poor thing's been laughed at his whole life!

crap, i am sooooo out of shape! i REALLY need to work out consistently...not just every other wednesday. and please, do not start with the whole, "YOU'RE NOT EVEN FAT!" i say the things that i say b/c it is only necessary. at the rate things are going right now, i'm going to end up looking like tiffanie when she was 7! Lord, discipline my body of indolence...not for my glory but yours alone!

speaking of discipline, my prayer life hasn't been so great. my whole walk with God hasn't been so great. i know what my problem is. i know what my solution is. yet i continue living like everything's alright. man, what a fool! i know i am THIS close to getting beat up by God! i tell other people to do this and that, yet i don't bother to change myself. i am no different from a non-christian. they lie, i lie. they covet, i covet. they disobey, i disobey. I just want to praise you Lord, MUCH more than i do! You deserve so much more, so much better! I am no better than Israel, Egypt, or any of the kings that disobeyed you. i am nothing. i need to pray. i need to pray like there's no tomorrow...
to the idiot who won't mind her own business: "This week is going to be mad." just means that i'm going to have a hectic week...alotta school work, financial worries, and spring break planning ok?

i had a very pleasant day today:
my health presentation went swell! i read my notecards, threw in a few technical terms, and BSed all the answers to the class's questions. my teacher said she actually learned something and looked very pleased. *shrug*

as i was attempting to learn in calculus, my dance pictures arrived from the office. i looked at the sealed packet, looked around the classroom, looked at the packet again, and finally couldn't stand it! i just had to see how i turned out in the pictures b/c i remember having a very uncomfortable look when the camera went off. tiffanie...not bad. lauri...not bad. lois...ahahahhhahah sucker. gary...good. matt...ok. me...hey, i smiled!

finally, as i was walking to my locker during lunch, my smelly friend, grendel, approached me with $45 in her hand! score! another successful transaction! not only was i able to get rid of my SMtown cds...i got rid of them at a VERY nice price! gosh, how does she do it? muchas gracias mi amiga baja!

ok, research paper due wednesday. partner still not finished. endnotes still not finished. bibliography still not finished. argh! pat, you lazy crap!

a conversation that i heard about:

(some guy and girl talking and BS approaches them).
guy: um, this is an A and B conversation so C your way out.
BS: ok, D you guys later!

ahahahahahahahha, BS thinks he's so clever (sorry, you had to hear this yourself)!

jessica-it's about time!
justin-i'll pay you $35 tomorrow.
jomo-liar liar! pants on fire! j/k...i'm pretty sinful myself.
pastor dave-what strange friends you have in your life...introduce me dawg!
tiff-you're going to work for me someday! score!

Thought of the Day: Lilsr25: hey Happy birthday (foolish child).
Song of the Day: HOT-Full of Happiness

March 24, 2002

so many things on my mind. eyes suffering from drowsiness. should i continue blogging? *yawn* ok, let's see how long i'll last...

i liked the retreat very much. here is what i remember:

1. HYUN SOO aka HAN SOO (this guy is the funniest crap you've ever seen...ahahahahahahaha right matt?).
2. i believe it was 6 hours of simpsons?
3. the beach dawg, the beach!
4. pizza with basil ain't so bad.
5. "GUMPCH!" (matt, we're playing this at PJ's!)
6. a pleasant conversation with julia.
7. chang & darren in a canoe...lol.
8. deuces and alotta pushups.
9. the beach dawg, the beach!

lesson: i cannot be happy with friends if i cannot be happy with God.

*YAWN* apology will accept? more continue no. ugh!

Thought of the Day: This week is going to mad!
Song of the Day: Weezer-Hashpipe (sung by my one and only franklin).

March 21, 2002

lunch...

(in korean)
mom: did you know that all of the adults like you?
me: oh.
mom: yeah, they tell me that their kids think you're a hero!
me: ahahahahahahaah.

the funny thing is she was being serious the whole time.

pastor dave-i am TOTALLY leaning towards it dawg!
justin-you're going to regret!
judy-what does "pun" mean? sorry, i have a 7th grade vocabulary and i don't understand the dictionary's definition.
young-your blog is officially off my list you boring crap.
terrance-19 years old!
pat and i have been arguing about the movie, "Training Day."

pat: man, Training Day was tiiiiiight!
me: dude, that movie was soooo bad!
pat: dude, at Blockbuster i ask all these people if they liked the movie or not. ALL of them said yes except for this old grandma. THAT GRANDMA WAS YOU!!! (cracking up hysterically).
me: ahahahahhaha. (what an idiot!)..

college has still been the talk around school. unfortunately, the conversations haven't exactly been the nicest ones. so many people are bitter about this guy named William who got into UCLA. William is a very annoying student who likes to annoy other students so that they will be annoyed with him. i have to admit that he didn't deserve to get in with his academics. i mean, even MY academics were better....haha. anyways, he's being really cocky and bragging about it to alot of people these days. if you're a senior at mills, it's likely that you hate him with a passion...but not ME, i'm a good christian!

random question to all "wise" teachers (or anyone else who thinks they're smart): what causes apathy? (i'm too lazy to think of an answer). thanks.

Thought of the Day: Should have gone to Hillsdale.

mr. chi-so fresh and so clean! i laughed like a mother today!
tiff-i'm terribly sorry. God has His reasons ok?
girl in red-welcome back!
simon-can you please start talking about something else?
lois-poor poor thing.
justin-still lots to plan dude.

Song of the Day: CIIK-Once In A...

March 19, 2002

*sigh* i got caught using aim at work today. gosh, i can't describe how unhappy i felt. i felt like i was back in 1st grade. remember when the teacher would send you out of the room if you did something really bad? gosh, i just wanted to crawl into a hole and die. i know it doesn't sound like a big deal, but IT IS! i've been working at my place for a year now and this is the first time they were unhappy with me. man, things are going to be all awkward when i go to work again...stupid buttholes!

praise God, i finally finished my econ research paper! it didn't take that long, it didn't require much thinking, it didn't require that much work, but it was bothering me for the longest time! every time i wanted to relax, i would see that assignment in my folder, sitting there with that "your balls are mine!" grin. *sigh* it's over, ALL OVER! man, i'm really tired right now. i don't even want to bother to sound witty in my blog right now...it's just not worth it.

jomo-introduce me to this subconscience fellow of yours...he sounds awfully nice. oh yeah, jessica is so *sigh*
tiff-yeah, jack is bad for you...wanna get some next week?
justin-NO WATCH ya hear?!
girl in red-prayer is hard...thank you.
matt-RECONSIDER!

Thought of the Day: I guess I need to work on this integrity thing at work.
Song of the Day: Da Youngsta's-Count It Off

March 18, 2002

today, i accicently discovered a hidden treasure! Da Youngsta's are ooooooold school! i just downloaded all of their songs and i found out they came out in '93. dang, i was like in 3rd grade...i didn't even know what music was back then! anyways, these 3 black fellas have been driving me crazy with head-bopping madness! there's something about old school beats that force me to keep their music. perhaps it is b/c it stirs up false memories and your forced into the world of funky imagination. it's like a guy coming up to you and saying, "hey don't you remember?" and you say, "no, but that's ok." and you just smile. note: phil is currently listening to Da Youngsta's.

at school, college has been the only subject in our conversations. "where did you get in?" "are you going to appeal?" "what?! how did you get in?" and so on. i noticed that these conversations are not happy ones. there is a very pessimistic tone in everyone's voice about the subject. i guess it's inevitable. college is inevitable. i'm going to have to go sooner or later (i-fang, i'm down with staying if you quit your job. we'll play, sleep, play, eat, play, play, play....).

grendel: chicken fried steak! ahahahahahah.
simon: we play when i say we play!
lois: shhhhhhhh!
justin: heartache's a bastard, i know.
john chi: so new yet so good! you're hecka fresh! lol.
doobo: sorry dawg, i just cannot add you to my bloglist. you type funny and your words do not amuse me in any way. give me a call when you decide to change (i'm a bastard no?).
bighead: happy 20th birthday grandma!
gary: you're about to join doobo.
pastor dave: what's with the absence?

that's all folks...

Thought of the Day: I love Jack. Jack is making me fat. Houston, we have a problem.
Song of the Day: Da Youngsta's-Pass Da Mic (hidden treasure fa sho!)

March 17, 2002

man, these weeks have been going go by so quickly! can you guys believe it's already the middle of march?! more and more, i want school to end b/c i'm so sick of doing all these meaningless assignments for health and economics. i hate school i tell ya! but yes, i must confess that senior year is seriously a sweeeeet piece of cake! grades don't matter, colleges are pretty much settled, you know when/where to cut your classes, and you get to see the freshmen running around like blind mice (yes, even tiffanie! eheheheheh). *sigh* i do not want to end my high school career just yet. i do not want to leave youth group. i do not want to study in college. i do not want to make new friends. i do not want to eat fast food everyday. i do want to get away from simon. i do not want to say bye to my old friends. i do not want to *sigh* grow up. to all juniors and under: i know high school seems gay. i know you can't wait until you can get outta mills. but TRUST ME, there's no sweeter place than high school.

envy is a funny thing is it not? it hides in the corner, smiles at you, and kicks you in the balls when you least expect it. lately, envy has been a big part of my life. i envy people for the special relationships that they have with certain people. i envy people for the niiiiiice cars that they drive. i envy people who never study and still get into ucsd (right justin?). i envy people who get a lot of attention. i envy good looking people. envy won't get off of me. i punch it in the face and it just spits at me. i try running away from it and it just trips me as soon as i attempt to escape. chang says it's all about focus. it's all about seeing where the envy is coming from. man, if i ever find out where it's hiding, i'm going to burn it's house down and run away giggling. ok, shuttup phil.

to be or not to be? to go to davis or not to go to davis? to go to irvine or not to go to irvine? i want to go to a good school. i want to go to a fun school. i don't want to smell cows. i don't want to smell alcohol everywhere i go. i want to be surrounded by a learning environment. i want to be surrounded by a lot of pretty girls. i don't want to see a whole buncha mills alumni. i don't want to see a whole buncha fake koreans. i want to see alotta pretty girls. i want alotta pretty girls to see me. ok, i think it's settled...i'm going to korea!

dang, my brother seriously had a bad case of gas tonight. he just wouldn't stop!

as he was reading:

simon: *fart*
me: dude!
simon: (looks at me and smiles) *fart*
me: DUDE!
simon: (bigger smile).

and this continued throughout the night...i think the chair he was sitting on is green now.

tiff-"you're fat!"
lois-i hope you get better...not b/c i care about your health. you just looked like crap today! =D j/k.
KGB-what's Stryder?
john chi-welcome to our world! i think i'm going to enjoy your blogs.
justin-just hold onto God's hand...ahahahahahhaha (you say the stupidest things sometimes)!
girl in red-blood oranges are ugly, but i am grateful for the gift.
doobo-so you read my garbage huh? i miss you b/c you're too doobolicious for me babe!
pastor dave-i never knew pastors could be so cool! we'll talk some more dawg...thank you.
sol-you are just a happy guy. can you give me angry look just once?
simon-in the words of chang-YOU ARE ONE NASTY LITTLE BOY!
matt-tell me when you're free...we're going to noraebang!
B-bass is good when you play.
chang-quit whining you baby. chess is not a game.

Thought of the Day: Fa Sho!
Song of the Day: Hear Our Praises

*sigh* i enjoyed Shawshank Redemption VERY much! it's one of those "feel good" movies that leave you smiling like an idiot after the movie. i felt really happy for those two guys in the end. gosh, what a happy ending...a bit unrealistic but still very touching. mr. morgan freeman, you're old and you should stop making movies, but i'm grateful for making me happy in this one....geez, i'm almost done with my checklist! yes!!!
b/c of Queen Simon's lamentations over losing pitifully on the battlefield, King Phil has decided to stop writing about his victories in his daily journal. he will conclude with today's 4-1 victory. hail King Phil!
work:

me: char, i got into UC Davis today!
char: WOW! that's a great school! oh wait, you're not going to start with all that pot now are you?
me: NO! i'm not into that stuff!
char: (muttering)...experimental purposes...hehe.
5 min. later...
char: hey, so do they test pot with the monkeys or the farm animals up there?
me: what?! ahahahahahahah.

Thought of the Day: man, senior year is great! i haven't done hw in so long!
Song of the Day: WC-F_ Cypress Hill ("mack10, can you pass me my skeeeeeiiiiill? Forreeeeeeeal, i'm the king of the heeeeeeiiiiiiill!"

March 13, 2002

after getting raped by Queen Simon's army, King Phil sought much vengeance. tonight, King Phil fought. tonight, King Phil laughed. tonight, Queen Simon tried. tonight, Queen Simon cried. "we are at war!"

christian life is hard. it is hard b/c the lifestyle contradicts what the world tells us to do. the world is full of sin. the christian life is to be without sin. christian life is hard. we need to pray. we need to pray with all of our hearts. we need to pray that God will humble us. we need to pray for total dependence on God. we need to pray for strength from God. life gets harder as time goes on. christian life is hard.

matt & pastor dave-you guys have been so faithful in writing blogs that make me smile...*sniff*...thank you!
justin-why do you want to let me know such things? it just leaves me in jealousy...honestly.
grendel-"doughboy KILLA! whack10 KILLA!"
terrance-you are a bad man.
frank(lin)-nigga please!
gary-you know, i'm left with no choice but to agree with you...you ARE a stupid bastard! eheheheheheh...j/k.
lois-i pray. you pray. we pray. everyday ok?

Thought of the Day: May everything that was said tonight not be said in vain.
Song of the Day: Bone Thugs-Friends (highly recommended...this means you grendel!)

March 11, 2002

today, mother was telling me and simon these "funny" stories that happened to her friends. when my mom tries to tell a "funny" story, she tells it with so much excitement and happiness. well, i'm not going to explain the story b/c it was incredibly stupid but man oh man does my mom look funny when she's cracking up! gosh, my mom would laugh at her own story, simon and i would laugh at her, and we would all be laughing harder b/c my mom would start telling the story again. dude, she told the freakin' story 5 times! lol. *sigh* i love seeing my mom laugh b/c it's really rare. she only laughs when she's drunk or when she's watching a korean drama. but yeah, God bless you mother!

sorry, have nothing special to write about today.

tiff-aw c'mon, mp3 discman's are only 200 bucks! oh yeah, your blog made me laugh tonight...good job.
justin-don't disappoint God dude.
simon-hey, the word "cowsh*t" would've made me laugh too! (dang, i haven't laughed that hard in a while).
gary-i normally hate seeing you eat ice cream but those picture really brought happiness to my heart.
pastor dave-fever?!
lois-you know, i have NEVER liked a single song that you have recommended to me! that 3rd storee song sucks!

omg, Westside Connection has to be the greatest rap group in the world! i have never bopped my head so hard in my life...lol. *sigh* these three fat guys make me so happy. i LOVE WC and Mack 10 b/c they have that husky "i smoke alotta weed" voice! Ice Cube isn't THAT great but the group wouldn't be the same w/o him. it's so sad how they broke up (i think). when i listen to "can't hold back", i think of a whole buncha fat black guys with their shirts off, cooking up a fat barbeque in a backyard! lol. i see them laughing and just having a great time c-walking, playing cards, and eating burgers, hotdogs, and chicken. man, maybe that's what heaven's like!

as i was driving today, i realized that there are alotta nice cars that i would like to have. these range from the cheap integra to the luxurious Lexus IS300. but as i was deciding which car would make me the happiest, i was forced to conclude that a volvo would please me the most! gosh, especially with the new models that are out these days like the S70! *drool* it's not too big, not too small, niiiiiice interior, and it's supposedly pretty fast. i know it's a lil ugly and hecka bank, but i'm pretty sure that's what i'm going to be driving when i'm older.

speaking of what i want, my birthday is coming up! well to respond to tiff's blog, i have a list of things that i would honestly LOVE to have (order doesn't matter):

1. one of those mp3 cd player thingys...preferably panasonic. sony is ok, but i like panasonic better.
2. a nice small camera...it does not have to be digital.
3. a white XL anchorblue sweatshirt! (you can't find these anymore, but if you guys can, i will love you with almost all of my heart!)
4. a 20+ gig harddrive or alotta RAM...the gift is not complete if you don't install it for me.
5. a car freshener...the same type in my car only different flavor.
6. an XL pizza from Toto's...#3 with extra garlic *drool*
7. DJ DOC 3rd Album
8. nice pair of white nike basketball shoes...size 9 or 9 1/2.
9. black Polo hat...basically the white one that i have except in black.
10. white and black nike hat...(my white nike hat: black nike sign is turning red. my black nike hat: the black is turning brown).
11. an Infusion Spalding basketball.

this is all i can think of for now...remember, this is what i HONESTLY want!

justin-i STILL think you're earing's gay! oh, you also pretty good at chess. (stalemate's gay when you're supposed to win!)
i-fang-have a WONDERFUL week off!
tiff-remember, it's ONLY simon!
gary-a very good job on the poster...how do you do it gary?
chang-i miss you!
B-dude, you're pretty good at bass! man, finkl's album is sooooo bad! i only kept 2 tracks out of the 15!
lois-we're going to talk sometime this week ok?
lauri-UPDATE!
pastor dave-your blogs make my smiles wider and wider! keep it up dawg!
dykas-i can't believe we're partners again! yesssss! i'm so excited!
simon-you're really good at chess. just stop laughing after every checkmate!
matt-if you ever become a lawyer, i know who to hire!
justin, gary, phil, tiff-i'm very sorry about saturday.
everyone-no more questions about college letters and who i'm going to prom with PLEASE!

this saturday, i'm going to eat lunch with my cousin who i haven't seen in a while. i personally feel VERY uncomfortable around this one b/c he's changed so much over the years! he's 10 years older than me, and unfortunately the youngest cousin on my dad's side. i remember when i was 5, he used to make me cry for fun. he would tickle me, hurt me, tickle me, hurt me, hurt me, hurt me...and this would continue until my mom saw what he was doing to me. when i was 8, he used to crack my knuckles over and over as i was flooding with tears and begging for mercy...yes, even my toes! when i was 10, i used to HATE eating vegetables so he made me eat a whole salad w/o dressing just to make me "get used to it." yeah, that man was a bastard in his high school years. but as he went off to college and started studying in korea, he changed ALOT! when i went to korea to go see him, we actually had a regular conversation! man, i can't explain it...his presence has and always will make me feel uncomfortable. it's so weird, that same man who used to "teach me how to defend myself" is now married! saturday is going to be gay. he's going to ask me all these questions about my life, college, girls, etc...wish me luck guys.

pastor dave-dude, that was some interesting stuff you wrote...it made me smile.
judy-i should try the playing sports in the rain thing sometime...it's sooooo fun! last time, i played soccer in korea when it was pouring during the summer.
lois, lauri, & chang mo-where art thou?!
tiff-your blog looks great! (i'm still praying, you better too! (i still think you're gay)).
matt-i had this dream that you were c-walking at a church rally...just busting out of no where-lol, so random!
everyone-ok, i still have all finkl, SES, and diva cds for sale-30 bucks (i'm getting ripped off like a mother here)!
man, what is up with the weather? according to yahoo, the weather is supposed to be GAY until next week! i also hate carrying an umbrella to school. i feel so stupid when i see all of my friends driving their cars to school while i'm walking to school with my lunch in an Albertson's bag in one hand and the other holding the ugly brown umbrella. it's the worst when you're crossing the street b/c you know ALL of the cars on all four corners are watching your every move, waiting for me to drop a book or trip and fall on your face...well, so far so good!

i got a new project at work today! i'm supposed to go to this website and write down like a thousand company names and their addresses. you know what that means....i'm going to be using AIM at work! woohoo! guys, PLEASE go online as soon as you get home from school ok? lately, the only people that have been talking to me is simon and jomo. *snore* j/k! but yeah, work goes by sooooo much faster when you're on the computer talking to people. 30 min. seems like 5 min.! oh, but i do have to be careful. today, i think michael caught me sleeping and chatting on AIM. i REALLY couldn't tell if he saw what i was really doing but yeah, i need to watch out for that danger.

Thought of the Day: THANK YOU GRENDEL!

me: oh yeah. cathy, i got into UC riverside.
cathy: oh wow! LA huh? that's great!
me: thanks. but it's just a back-up school. i don't think i'll really be going there.
cathy: oh, where do you want to go?
me: um, berkeley or ucla would be nice, but it's really hard.
cathy: yeah, it's impossible to get into colleges these days! what kinda stuff do they look at for you to get in?
me: basically your GPA and SAT scores.
cathy: geez, you should've just put a note saying you worked your *ss off! ahahahahahaah. I TRIED! ahahahahahaha.
char: seriously!
cathy: i didn't learn a d*mn thing in high school! hell, i don't even know how to sew! i liked taking cooking though....ahahahahahahaha.
me: ahahahahaha.

i like cathy too! she's this big fat jolly woman who laughs after every other sentence.

cathy: you know in the 6th Sense, how every time a ghost is about to come out, they always show red?
me: oh really?
char: oh, remember that part when the wife is watching tv by herself?
(silence).
char: yeah, that was a good movie.
(i had to bite my cheeks sooooo hard to keep from laughing out loud).

tiff-i appreciate the advertisement. don't worry, i haven't forgotten my end of the deal (our good friend, Jack).
justin-i'll pay for my book. i promise!
simon-King Phil is always ready!
teachers-what's with you guys and this word, "sham!?"
gary-heartbreakers deserve to die! j/k.

man, what a fierce day on the chess battlefield! as King Phil's army attacked strong in the first two battles, the barbarians of Queen Simon responded quickly in the third round. King Phil knew that this was not just a game, it was war! he attacked even stronger in the fourth battle until the frustrated Queen had to debate whether or not she should continue challenging the handsome champion. she decided she'd give it a shot. as knights and bishops were getting killed, King Phil's army found Queen Simon's strongest soldier deserted and all alone. The Queen begged for mercy as the King was laughing his head off. however, the gracious King allowed the enemy to attack and ended the war with a satisfied 3-2 victory! (simon, you know i REALLY won this game!). King Phil may have won this one, but he hears stories about the 5 stomached monster known as Chang Mo. King Phil will practice. King Phil will prepare. King Phil will be ready.

Thought of the Moment: Hail King Phil! Champion over the Barbarians of Queen Simon!
Song of the Moment: Survivor-Eye of the Tiger (DDuh! dduh dduh dduh!)
work...

char: philip, do you like sushi?
me: yeah.
char: what's your favorite kind?
me: uh, i like all of them, but i think my favorite is the california roll.
char: do you like eel?
me: uh, i think so.
char: ever try the tempOra one?
me: yeah, i think so.
char: yeah, cathy and i like the tempOra one, isn't that right cathy?
cathy: nope.
char: aw sure you do, don't you remember?
cathy: is it the one with the avocado?
char: cathy, all of them have avocado.
cathy: i don't like it then.
char: yeah, the tempOra ones are good!

white people look at sushi in such an interesting way.

char: so your prom's in april or may huh?
me: yep. april 13.
char: holy sh*t! that's right around the corner!
me: yep.
char: so you're going to get that room of your right?
me: NO! ahahahahahaha.
char: aw c'mon philip!
me: no, i think i'm going karoke afterwards.
char: oh ok, that's good. oh, i remember when my son went to prom with a senior when he was a freshmen. i was like, "antonio, what the hell does she see in you?!"
me: ahahahahah.

char: you that calf? it escaped twice in two days!
me: oh really?
char: yeah! gosh, it was looking at me with these eyes like it was saying, "i got you you stupid human."
me: ahahahahha.
char: (muttering)...stupid calf.

sorry, these were REALLY funny in real life. i'm off to tutor.

while tutoring julia...

mom: isn't it hard tutoring her?
me: no, it's alrite.
mom: yeah, i know.
me: (smile).
mom: are you sure?
me: yeah, really it's fine.
mom: ok, well here's your money. (stuffs a 20 in my pocket). thank you.
me: uh, thank you?

(this was while i was tutoring her too! (don't forget, this was all in a strong korean accent)). gosh, i seriously hate going inside that house. it STILL smells like fish that's been thrown up three or four times! to be honest, i pity julia b/c she probably smells like crap at school b/c of her mom's...*sigh*...food.

well, day 1 has passed and things seem a bit better today. i want to thank all readers who have been praying for me....i REALLY appreciate it dudes, and i'll be praying for you guys as well. just continue to remind me b/c my memory is quite pitiful.
dang! don't you hate it when you try to post an entry, but the blogger site is messed up and it won't publish it? i just published last night's stuff right now so you guys can read that later...

everyone, char is back from louisiana!...

me: so did you have fun back at home?
char: no way! i had this bad experience with this calf.
me: calf?
char: yeah! you know, one of those baby cows! anyways, this calf escaped from it's home and somehow got into my dad's barn. it somehow got inside with the horses so i had to get it out. well, i was trying to climb over the fence and then i got electricuted! i was like, "holy SH*T!" it hurts so much between your arms and chest, right here! so i decided to put my legs over the fence, and then the wire went up between my legs, and i was like, "HOLY SH*T!" my cousin was laughing at me like a fool so i tell him to get a GODD*MN STICK! sheesh, d*mn calf!
me: ahahahahahaha.

aw c'mon jomo, i solved that problem when i was in 1st grade!

Thought of the Day: guys, i've been having a craving for pizza these days. fri. ok?

have you guys read in the old testament where it shows the sinfulness of Israel? well, during the summer, i was going through a period where i had alotta passion for theology and stuff you know? so i told myself that i was going to finish reading the Bible, Genesis to Revelations, in one month b/c that was when school was going to start again. unfortunately, i learned that passion alone will not get you anywhere....you also need alotta diligence and discipline. the Bible is one looooong book dawg! it doesn't seem so long b/c of the really thin pages, but yeah...there's over a thousand of them! anyways, i'm reading 2 Kings right now, which means that i've been reading about the depravity of God's people for a few months now. i get all pissed off when i see how the people of God sin like crazy, turn back to God, sin like crazy even more, and once again crawl back to God! then i remember how Israel is supposed to symbolize US! dude, it is sooooo true! we sin, go back to God, sin, go back to God, and so on. we always betray our faithful father. *sigh* once again, PRASE GOD! He's so loving, merciful, and full of grace! how is it that He was able to love the nation of Israel? how is it that He is able to love us? guys, God is so good. AMEN!

lois-pray! not just any prayer, but a genuine and humble one! i'll be praying for you.
tiff-i'm very encouraged to see how you're doing...please don't forget my request and i'll try not to forget yours.
justin-read Hebrews 12 and Jeremiah 29:11-13...yes, i'm praying for you too.
teachers, PJ, & frank-i am personally grateful for all of your efforts in our yg. i know some of you are thinking that you don't deserve any thanks/compliments, but really you guys are great (especially the girl in red =D).
well, today is march 3rd...sunday. i am definitely going through a time of discipline from God. i've been struggling with some personal sins so now i'm getting what i deserve. this week is really going to be hard on me. i can't explain my current state of things, but i just ask that you pray for me reader. please don't just let this entry be something where you read it, feel sorry for me, and forget about it. all i'm asking you is to pray for me please, ok? thank you.

man, i am one sinful bastard...

Thought of the Day: i was incredibly disappointed with "Casino!"
Song of the Day: Montell Jordan-This Is How We Do It

March 2, 2002

*sigh* what a great day! first of all, last night was friday! i finished all of my hw really early so i won't be a prisoner to schoolwork this weekend. second, i had my school dance last night. dang, i was pretty worried about getting matt in b/c he couldn't find his school id. his mom was all telling me to leave w/o matt b/c she thought he was holding everyone up...lol, it cracks me up when i see matt pissed off or really frustrated. it's just a funny sight b/c he doesn't really "explode," he just kinda boils and boils and keeps saying, "dang!" eh, you know what i mean. man, i personally had a great time at the dance! i got to see gary, tiff, matt, lois, joyce, and esther dance! all dance pretty well...i was personally impressed with tiffanie and matt. tiff dances with a very unique style-different yet cool. matt just kinda chills (sorta like the "slum dip") but man can that guy c-walk!

the dance started off REALLY bad. when matt and i first walked in, it looked like a middle school dance where all the students lean against the walls and the only person dancing is the dj. man, i thought this dance was going to be a disaster. but after taking pictures and everyone started coming in, things started getting a little better. i was actually disappointed with most of the music but it had it's rare "energetic" songs like "this is how we do it" and "welcome to atlanta." basically, the dance was full of freaking, a few people trying to break dance or play with glowsticks, and a whole bunch of "cool" people standing outside. but yeah, i had a great time...i have never danced that much in one night (ha! what a lie!)...my thighs are screaming with pain right now!

after the dance, we had a whole bunch of gourmet from my good friend, Jack. man, i'm seriously going to have a crapload of jumbo jacks and pho at my wedding! and i'm DEFINITELY going to be blasting some old school hiphop when we dance (ahahahaha, yeah right!)! man, for those of you who want to be introduced to good hiphop, start off with "hypnotize," "next episode," and "only you remix." those will sooooo get you to dance! =D

after Jack, we went to blockbuster and rented "casino," "negotiator," and "hardball!" we watched "hardball" at PJ's after everyone left b/c PJ let us since it was a friday. gosh, "hardball" was a great way to end my fantastic day! i enjoyed it very much with the ghetto black kids and that idiot, Keanu Reeves. i was surprised to see that there were alotta deep messages in the movie...man, some kids have it really tough in life! anyways, i'm pretty tired right now. i didn't write half as much of what i really wanted to say. just know that i had a great day...PRAISE GOD!

grendel-you're a great dancer! ahahaha, my socks will make the coke turn white!
matt-hope you enjoyed the dance. i'm sooooo glad you came!
lois-we still had alotta fun w/o you.
gary-you're seriously not that bad at dancing gary! however, you are one NAST-AY vice president!
lauri-you ALMOST ruined the movie for me!
everyone-we're all going to the next lowell dance!
