i showed Attack the Gas Station to my friends last night. surprisingly, these chinese fellas liked it! of course they didn't laugh at all the appropriate parts but what matters is that they enjoyed it. right after that movie, i watched the japanese version of The Ring. dang, that crap was so stupid. i thought the original was supposed to be much scarier. i guess it's b/c i heard tiff talk about it too much for my ears to handle. why is it that i always expect too much from movies? but at the same time, i also have a tendency to enjoy "stupid" movies that no one else likes.

but speaking of movies, the students at irvine have been going crazy over Mirc b/c we just recently found out that the downloads aren't restricted. this whole week, people have been watching movies movies movies in either my room or will's room. it's really fun watching movies with your dormmates. heck, it's even fun watching it alone, just knowing the fact that you finally got to download something big w/o UCI knowing it! all you non-freshmen, don't take your downloading for granted. it really is a wonderful thing.
