Last night, all the subways closed at 11:30, and I was stuck at COEX. I took a taxi to Kangnam and tried to find a bus that would take me somewhere closer to Hongdae. My friend told me to take this one bus and to get off at Jonggak. After quite a while, I decided to ask the bus driver where the best place would be to get off to find a taxi to Hongdae. He was so taken aback by my ignorance that he just opened the door and told me to get out. I was in Bundang. I took a 33,000won taxi ride home. I learned three very valuable lessons last night:
1. Saturday subways close earlier than weekday subways.
2. Kangnam has a grip of buses that can take you to various places minus Hongdae.
3. It's always a good idea to double check when a girl gives you directions.
And yes, I am aware that nobody really cares.
Good burger. Good movie. Goodnight.
