we had our sister's appreciation nite last night. old phil picked up the irvine freshmen around 6 so we didn't get to church til 7. for once, i didn't enjoy a church banquet, mainly b/c i didn't do anything in it. i just kinda came and went so i was a pretty bummed out about that. alotta different girls thanked me for a great night but really, they were thanking one guy who did not deserve to be thanked at all. but i'm glad they enjoyed the night. alotta the other guys worked pretty hard and seriously just showed a night of appreciation to the sisters.

best dressed male: me! naw, j/k. it definitely had to go to Chris. man, that fool was SO gangster! you can't go wrong with white suspenders. haha.
best dressed female: mariela kim. all hands down. only girl brave enough to wear something red.

skit: man, terrance is right. growing up in kcpc really spoils you. i mean, alotta people appreciated the skit and thought it was great entertainment. i don't know, it was funny and all but i just see so much more potential coming from sean. but it's not like the skit was there to impress Critical Phil. if the sisters enjoyed it, then that's all that matters right?

food: can't go wrong with italian food. i don't think a single person complained about food (except for lori who has an abnormal fear of cheese?). that's alrite though. eugene was late but eugene made and brought great food!

aaron: the boy can sing folks! i didn't hear a single mistake and he had to sing a song that requires some mad ball-squeezing. The Kry - Take My Hand And Walk. fudge. he sang such a good song. aaron makes me want to be gay.

man, i was just kinda out of it the whole night. if you didn't notice, then i was pulling it off pretty well. if you did notice, then you're looking at me too much. i just wished i did SOMETHING for the banquet. (roar).

i think my highlight of my depressing Valentine's Day was chilling in aaron's room with dykas after the banquet. i've known aaron for how many months now and last night was the first time i actually got to check out his pad. mesa court, phase 3.5 (?). not freakin' bad at all! good time of magic tricks and talking about random things...aaron's new name is "ggochu." ahahhahahahahah.

today...

i played alotta ball with simon, dykas, and jay. man, today once again convicted me to start working out again. i'm going to TRY running at least a mile everyday. back to my sets of pushups and crunches. today's humbling exercise was exactly what i needed. working out really makes you feel good. let's see how long it'll last this time. afterwards, we ate some soon doobu and tapioca express.

man, today is just a crappy day for both me and my roommate. we're both just going through some stupid stuff that's affecting how we funciton throughout the day. well, i'm not suffereing as much as him but i really feel for the guy. it depresses you when you see others depressed to you know? what is wrong with Grey Havens Room 109? oh Lord would you not comfort us! *sigh* today is definitely no day to do hw. just sit at your desk, stare at wall, and let the music do its job.
