char: philip, i'm going back home next week for Mardi Gras!
me: oh really? hey what's up with Mardi Gras anyways? what are they celebrating?
char: well, in New Orleans, there are these...blah blah blah...my father is really sick...blah blah blah...you see, Catholoics...blah blah blah...balconies with alotta stupid people...blah blah blah...look at these bracelets...blah blah blah...alcohol drive thru's...blah blah blah...my husband has one...blah blah blah...confirmation...blah blah blah...Fat Tuesdays...blah blah blah...(30 min. later)...I LOVE MARDI GRAS!

today, my friends, pat (tap) and daniel (dykas), came over to play some chess after reading my blog. pat obviously talked the most crap and also lost the quickest. today, i found out that dykas was some kinda chess champion or something so i was pretty excited to play him after he beat sharkface. dykas plays pretty fast and he's pretty good. we both won and lost once...I'M COMING DYKAS! LOL.

i come upstairs with an orange.
pat: dude phil, why do you ALWAYS eat oranges? what are you...orangeman?
(laughter).
pat: hey, lemme get some!

*sigh* it's a wonder how i became friends with that guy.

lauri: gosh, i'm so proud of lauri! it's soooo incredibly hard to not copy hw at Mills b/c it's like a sin if you don't. if people ask you for hw and you say no, they think you're gay. hang in there lorebadore...only have 2 more years to go!

chang & jomo: stop talking about such things! INAPPROPIATE you hear?!

i-fang: you have fully convinced me to NEVER become a writer! (you'll be alrite!). smallville episodes! oh thank you so much! just for that, i think i'm going to say hi to a chinese person tomorrow. =D
